Was up early this morning and off to the city's Building & Zoning Department to pay the $71.55 re-inspection fee. Fortunately there wasn't a line and I was out of there quickly. The inspector will be coming back first thing tomorrow morning (after 8:00) and I'll be here waiting for him. First I'll let the security desk know to let him up when he gets here. I'll be getting up earlier than usual (again). But this has to get done.
Had the ribs and sauerkraut for dinner. Excellent. Meat was perfectly tender and not overcooked. Then made sure I got a good nap since I planned on going to the gym. (Kept Lucky out of the room since he jumps around sometimes and wakes me up.) (Bootsy stays still.) Then I was off to the gym and afterward the store.
In case you've wondered whatever happened to Jackson's chimp, Bubbles, he's in an animal sanctuary in Wauchula, Florida (saw it on Anderson Cooper). Bubbles ended up there after he got too big. (Jackson never went back to see him.)
I just heard on MSNBC that Jackson was possibly doing 40 Vicodin a day, and perhaps was trying to get sick to get out of his concert tour, which he thought was too grueling. (Vicodin nauseates me--I was once prescribed it for a tooth abscess. It also contains acetaminophen (Tylenol). See below.)
We have Friday off for the 4th of July holiday. Yay! But tomorrow could be harrowing (for a variety of reasons). Hope the plumbing inspection goes well. I'm sitting on pins and needles about that.
