Looks like Ike will be passing quite a ways south of here, but the weather is changeable, as we know. Still, at this stage, it appears we'll be out of harm's way. Each new projection places Ike's path farther south of Miami. Even the Keys are going to get somewhat of a break.
Last night I was back at the store and almost all the batteries were gone, and there were no more flashlights. Glad I bought mine the other day. I got extra cat food and some bottled water, just as a precaution. I've never had a problem here with the water.
