I guess.
The other day I bought some extra batteries for my radio and a new flashlight. Tomorrow I'll buy a load of cat food.
If the stuff in the freezer goes bad, that's OK. Most of it's old anyway (pre-Eric's departure), when I cooked more. I'm eager to start cooking again, however, if I ever get this kitchen installed. I can hardly wait to make a few of my favorite recipes, which require stuff that's stored away (e.g., knives, food processor), plus counter space that I don't have. And a kitchen sink and dishwasher would be nice.
The hurricane shutters were tested during Tropical Storm Fay. They work, plus I've sprayed all the locks with WD-40.
The terrace has been streamlined a bit, so it shouldn't be very difficult hauling everything into the house. The problem is that right now there's hardly any room for it, since the new kitchen cabinets and contents of the old kitchen take up a lot of room. I've got to be able to walk around, don't I?
