The guy got it 95% right, but failed in the finishing touches. I really don't want him back here. After the good job he'd done framing it all out and installing the recessed lighting, he left dings in the drywall and then painted the ceiling with regular ceiling paint, as opposed to kitchen and bath paint. Grease spatters are now appearing on the ceiling and soaking in. Unfortunately I wasn't supervising the final stages of the project, and B. didn't know any better.
Now I'll have to go back and spackle, sand, then prime it all over and repaint with the right paint. Not a big deal, but this job was expensive (and for the price, I think it should have been done right).
