Happy New Year

Today after work I bought a couple bottles of champagne (the Domaine Ste. Michelle, Brut Columbia Valley (WA) and the Chandon Brut Classic (CA) from the list posted below--nothing extravagant). Drinking the Washington wine now. Very good (as billed). B. is at a Latin party by the pool. We toasted with the champagne before he left. I watched all the fireworks from the terrace at midnight.
