Lost a Friend Today

Frank a.k.a. Francine DuBois passed away today in Palm Bay, FL, after enduring several strokes over the past few years. (I wish I had a photo of him.) I met him and his long-time partner, Don, at Sugars years ago. We spent many memorable times together. Don & Frank were famous for their holiday parties, gathering all the fags in the area (and their friends and family and clergy, too) for their excellent home-prepared feasts and open bar.

They moved up the coast about 5-6 years ago and I'd not been in close touch with them. Don called today with the news.

R.I.P. Frank. We'll miss you and never forget you.
