Actually these are "fruit doves." I'd never heard of them until I saw this segment last night on 60 Minutes, about the isolated Foja Mountains in Indonesia, where they've been discovering new animal species. (You can watch the whole segment at the link.) (It may not be new but it was new to me.) You couldn't Photoshop a prettier pigeon. (I wonder if that's two males snuggling in the tree.)

that's some pretty birds, and of course that's two males, they are keeping warm from the cold snap, but truly a male(bird) usualy perch spreading his legs apart
