It appears my hot water heater has sprung a slow leak, or something. It's right next to the closet where I keep the cat boxes. I noticed the floor in there was getting kind of wet. I thought maybe it was the cats, but it's not. (Usually the cats hit the cat box.) There's also wetness around the base of the water heater. For the time being, I can contain it with newspapers.
The water heater seems to be very old, anyway. Oh well.
