Thoughts on 'choice'

If a woman wants to have a baby or not, it's strictly her business (not the state's). Sarah Palin, John McCain's choice for vice president, doesn't sanction abortions even in the case of incest or rape.

If I were a woman, I wouldn't want to bring a hopelessly sick or deformed baby into the world and have the child suffer through a short, painful life, just to show I'm a bona fide right-to-lifer. How selfish and cruel of me.

I don't see any disconnect where a person who values the sanctity of life might choose to have an abortion and prevent a baby from suffering. While the choice would be a difficult one, in some cases it might be the most humane, "Christian" thing to do.

(And I'm not for aborting gays.) (Society desperately needs us.)

just for talk sake! being gay for some people is just as bad as being D.S. or anything else. 20 years after your birth you become ill with M.S or parkinson what would you have decided for yourself leave religion out of this for a moment, my mother was a 16 years old girl and gave me life and I'm glad with her decision what are we going to do with human life discard them like old trash this is not like cleaning a closet where are we going with this my sister last born was spina bifida at birth his life didn't started to well but today he's a healthy handsome young man with a nice career and a girl friend he was one of the lucky one mind you but now watch me (THANK GOD)his parents didn't give up on him, anyway it's a very difficult subject and the decision should be left to the people concern with the matter, I sure don't admire a woman who's had 3 or 4 abortion just for the heck of it and there are always exceptions like in any cases, as you said ''thoughts on choice''and that's the way i see it and more..........got to go to bed

Thanks for your comment. I don't believe in discarding human life like trash either. Nor do I believe abortion should be used as birth control. But still I think the woman should have control over her own body.
