Dear Sen. Hagan,
I trust you will act in a way that best serves the American people in dire need of a responsive health care system and not think first about the interests of the health insurance industry, which so far has not been up to the task. Health costs continue to rise and need to be contained, while millions of people have no health care at all. A public option can improve the performance of the health insurance companies while giving the people a much needed safety net. A vast majority of citizens are counting on this.
